Esku artean duzun liburu hau, gaur egunean, aktibismotik zein akademiatik, emakume espetxeratuek bizitzen dutena azaleratu nahi duten ikerlanen bildumatxo bat da, espetxe-sistemak haiengan dituen eraginen ingurukoa. Hainbat lan eta ikuspegiren arteko elkarrizketa bilatzen saiatu gara, argi-izpi ezberdinak ekartzeko asmoz, kartzeletako barrunbeetako zenbaitez ohartu eta hausnartzen jarraitzeko. Izan ere, eztabaida sustatu, gogoeta kolektiboa bultzatu eta gizartean gaia azaleratzen segitu nahi dugu, betiere analisi feminista bidelagun izanik. Askotariko iritzi eta ikusmoldeak topatuko dituzu hemen; espetxe-sistemaren izaera diskriminatzailetik hasiz, itxialdiari aurre egiteko emakume espetxeratuek dituzten erresistentzia-mekanismoekin jarraituz, euskal gatazkaren testuinguruko hainbat esparru jorratu eta emakume presoekin zuzenean lanean dauden profesionalen hainbat ekarpen jasotzeraino. "Momentu aluzinagarria" aipatzen du Eva Forestek espetxetik idatzitako gutunetan; horri buruz hitz egin eta kontatzearen beharraz mintzo da. Espetxea, tortura, errepresio-sistema... bizitzea egokitu zaien pertsonen alboan egon gaitezen, bestelako egitura batzuk amestu ditzagun. Ziur aski, ezin da kartzelaz idatzi barruan egon gabe. Baina doazela argi-izpi batzuk, elkarren berotasuna senti dezagun, momentu batez bada ere.

Durante las décadas de los 60 y los 70, tras largos años de represión y silencio, se crearon movimientos populares que establecieron las bases de una red social y cultural, y contribuyeron a la estabilización y reconfiguración de la comunidad cultural vasca. Este artículo ofrece una aproximación a ese contexto sociocultural mediante el análisis detallado del primer libro de artista publicado en euskera: Isturitzetik Tolosan barru (Itxaropena, 1969) de JosAnton Artze. Para comprender tanto el contexto en el que emerge este poemario, como su aportación a la poética experimental, por una parte, se presentan las dinámicas colectivas y participativas que propiciaron la aparición de este primer libro artístico y colectivo; por otra parte, se analiza cómo se materializa lo experimental en este libro artístico. En ese contexto, se presenta un análisis textual y contextual de este poemario, incidiendo en su dimensión sonora, visual y arquitectónica. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre  cómo han tratado los discursos historiográficos de la literatura vasca esta aportación poética.

This study aims to revisit some hermeneutical aspects which are essential for a theoretical approach to the interrelated notions of the poetic and poeticity in public space. I will use examples of ephemeral poetic forms such as graffito or performance, but also some examples of poetic objects from linguistic fields such as English, Portuguese, Spanish and German. These reflections on a theoretical and methodological framework for poetry and translation in public space can be subsumed under the key concept of transit-translation. I will associate four poetic expressions from four related cultural areas, with non-lyric discourse in visual, verbo-visual and performance poetry, in public space. They will be distributed along four thematic lines which I consider crucial to the current description of the phenomenon: the intermedial-intermaterial transition, the transfer from the poetic-political to the commercial, the poetic-political multimedia project, and the conflict between the poetic and the public. Drawing from different theoretical backgrounds (Heidegger, Benjamin, Rancière, Badiou, Bhabha, Butler and Spivak), I propose that these forms of non-lyric poetry might represent the advent of a new public sphere, which is no longer exclusively formed by an idealistic, romantic tradition, but rather characterised by a hermeneutic ambiguity which suggests a reconfiguration of the subject and of poetic subjectivity.

The relationship between poetics and politics is fractured due to being in a world equally fractured, in crisis. The resulted split moves poetics and politics towards a so-called (and often sublimated) relationship between ethics and aesthetics. In fact, it seems that poeisis and politeia are learning to survive in a sterile and confine solitude. In the limits of a subjectivity bored by new ways of pressure, this article seeks to answer to this question: what are the options for creativity to become a new manner of communication and, most importantly, a critical link? The attempted answer will consider the current theoretical and practical circumstances of the relationship between poetics and politics, between solitude and community.

Um acontecimento poético representa, de uma forma ou de outra, uma intervenção política no espaço público, material ou discursivo. Ainda que não contenha uma mensagem política directa, ou realize uma afronta aos costumes do perceptivo ou do sensível, sempre se produz, em maior ou menor medida, uma desestabilização da ordem habitual das coisas. Simplesmente, porque o poético nos distancia do que é considerado normal ou tradicional. Mas também porque contém uma promessa de verdade, porque é um radical, no seu sentido etimológico de raiz ou origem, uma dinâmica de expressão e comunicação potencialmente infinita “com lugares e pessoas, sobretudo no caso da poesia não-lírica”.

If, deluded by general literary history, we only value what is ethical and responsible in classical Portuguese satire, forgetting that it can also contain individual arbitrariness aimed at the destruction of an object, we will miss the moments when, as in medieval satire, the factor of constitution seems to be the ruthless and immoral personalization of criticism of persons, institutions, or entities. The aesthetics of moderation ends up promoting a subtly saturated and concrete language that seems to pursue the annulment of the other rather than a corrective social function. In Mannerism we find the most aesthetically elaborate examples of satire that challenges destiny or God in relation to the evils that fall upon an impotent but insubstantial self before such sensitive questions of metaphysical morality, a satire whose classic style gives it an aesthetic dignity and textual model without exception. In this article, we will see the different paths of classic and Mannerist satire, using the works of poets such as Sá de Miranda, António Ferreira, Pêro de Andrade Caminha, André Falcão de Resende, and Fernão Rodrigues Lobo Soropita.

The Vocabulaire européen des philosophies. Dictionnaire des intraduisibles defines intranslatability as “what one does not cease to (not) translate”. A paradigmatic example of a text continuously translated since the second half of the twentieth century, is the foundational essay of modern translation theory, “The translator’s task” by Walter Benjamin. Starting with a brief overview of 27 Ibero-Romance, Italian, English and French translations since 1962, with special emphasis on the Brazilian case, this paper will offer a reflection on the issues of translatability and intranslatability in Walter Benjamin. Some of “The tranlator’s Task”’s more complex passages will be analyzed to illustrate how Benjamin’s theory attempts to reframe the idea of the original through the notion of translation as a “continuum of transformations.” It will be argued that the concept of “pure language” can be understood as a strategic essentialism, a discursive tool for negotiating between the translatable and the untranslatable. O Vocabulaire européen des philosophies. Dictionnaire des intraduisibles define a noção do intraduzível como “aquilo que não cessamos de (não) traduzir”. Um exemplo paradigmático de um texto continuamente traduzido desde a segunda metade do século XX é o ensaio fundacional da teoria da tradução moderna, “A tarefa do tradutor” de Walter Benjamin. A partir de um breve panorama de 27 traduções ibero- -românicas, italianas, inglesas e francesas, desde 1962 e com especial ênfase no caso brasileiro, este estudo pretende oferecer uma reflexão em torno às questões de tradutibilidade e intradutibilidade em Walter Benjamin. Analizar-se-ão algumas das passagens mais complexas da Tarefa para ilustrar como a teoria benjaminiana tenta resignificar a ideia do original a partir da noção de um “continuum de transformações”. Argumentar- -se-á, também, que o conceito da “pura língua” pode ser entendido como um essencialismo estratégico, uma ferramenta discursiva para negociar entre o traduzível e o intraduzível.

Abstract: In the world of Mexican poetry of the 20th and 21st centuries an intense melancholy can be seen. Poets such as Ramon López Velarde, Xavier Villaurrutia, Efraín Huerta, Jaime Labastida, Francisco Hernández or Marco Antonio Campos, among others, may be clearly set into this poetic mode. Each one of these authors has dealt with one or several of the many expressions related to melancholy, from tedium to erotic impulse, patriotic passion or more often, anguish provoked by illness, suicide and death. Given my belief that Jaime Sabines’work springs from melancholic humor, particularly from some of its symptoms described in philosophy, sociology or anthropology, and since this may explain his retreat from writing quite a few years before his death, this article approaches Sabines´ poetry taking into account some of the most relevant and well-known studies on melancholy (Agamben, Bartra, Paz, Castro Santiago or Arancibia). Resumen: En el mapa de la poesía mexicana de los siglos XX y XXI se aprecia una intensa presencia del carácter melancólico. En esta línea podrían ubicarse Ramón López Velarde, Xavier Villaurrutia, Efraín Huerta, Jaime Labastida, Francisco Hernández o Marco Antonio Campos, entre otros. Cada uno de estos autores ha poetizado algunas de las múltiples caras de la tristeza, desde el tedio y el abatimiento hasta la exacerbación erótica, la pasión patriótica o, más frecuentemente, la angustia por la enfermedad, el suicidio y la muerte. Dada mi convicción de que la obra de Jaime Sabines es fruto del humor melancólico –en particular de algunas de las manifestaciones de éste descritas desde la filosofía, la sociología y la antropología– y puesto que puede explicar su casi completa renuncia a la creación poética bastantes años antes de su muerte, este trabajo lee al autor chiapaneco a la luz de algunos destacados estudios sobre la melancolía (Agamben, Bartra, Paz, Castro Santiago o Arancibia).
